“In a beautifully mad world between chaos, dreams and realities nothing defines us more then the moments we feel free,” is a creative starting point for the artist and musician JUNEsHELEN. Here artistic development is fueled with an affinity towards many genres – experimental and electronic music, classical, ambiental and film music. But her music is hers and it is fueled with a dreamy and cinematographic ambience dressed in a darker shades of trip hop. The author tells us that her work is a fusion of her “hedonistic, female spirit and creativity” and “piano melodies, soft synths and grounded drum-rhythms”, above which her vocals float in “poetry of a romantically poetic sensibility”. Her debut album, Chapters Part One, came out in 2015, and this time we may expect a solo set, created from “a balance of life and insertion of experience and subjective creations into the world of music, sound, and voice”.
