PROJET EXPÉRIENCE PROJET:

IL TRIELLO EXTENDED

Just as Il Triello, presented at Spider 2020, was neither a choreographic nor a sound piece, Il Triello extended likewise doesn't fall into any single artistic category. But what it certainly represents is a realisation of its authors' wish to find a common ground of action between a musician and a dancer, rather than to push forward their individual virtuosity.

Lisa, Thaïs and Tom meet again with the same set-up of Il Triello as it was conducted for last year's Spider and take their encounter as a starting point of their new-old research. The necessity of working together in an anti-hierarchical and anti-disciplinary way is still what gathers them. Their conceptual, as well as performative set-up revolves around a single concrete action, thus encouraging direct interaction, proximity between the performers, and a rebirth of co-dependency.

By multiplying their experience of Il Triello’s set-up, their motto is recycling, inviting the audience to experiment a new perception of the same set-up. This performance runs away from the possibility of being unique and isolated.

# direct interaction # proximity # recycle # no hierarchy # no discipline # extend all that
