Tatiana Kocmur, visual artist, and Liza Šimenc, dancer and choreographer, are back, which basically means that Mary Jane is back – again, never the same. Mary Jane * Proteus (v)anguinu might be best described as an experiment of a sentient being with external barriers. In the newly developed social and political space, the being attempts to install itself, it aims to exist and survive.

What does Mary do?

She mostly experiences.

She constitutes an image of a hybrid in a perpetual process of becoming.

During the festival, she will play with various senses, day in and day out. Senses are limited. Mary Jane will gladly explore and find what has been limited. She will populate her intimate room under a tree where she'll begin and conclude her explorations. Each research will end with a discussion which Miss Mary Jane will document into a digital archive, one that will be available to anyone who might be interested.
